The African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) is seeking a visionary leader to serve as Director of the African School of Regulation (ASR). The ASR focuses on building local capacity in energy regulation, delivering high-impact training programs, advancing sound regulatory practices, and promoting dialogue among regulators, policymakers, academics, and energy stakeholders across Africa.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing strategic leadership and direction for ASR’s training, research, and outreach activities.
- Establishing and maintaining collaborations with academic institutions, development partners, and funding agencies.
- Overseeing fundraising efforts and ensuring the financial sustainability of ASR.
- Recruiting and managing staff, coordinators, trainers, and researchers.
- Serving as Secretary of the ASR Managing Board and implementing Board decisions.
