The African School of Regulation (ASR) Board, together with external advisors and the School’s new Director, Dr. Abdulkadir Shettima, convened in Accra this week for its Board Meeting.

The session focused on setting the school’s goals and strategy under its new leadership, reaffirming ASR’s mission to strengthen regulatory capacity and promote sustainable, affordable, and reliable energy across Africa.

With the Board and Director aligned, ASR is poised to deepen its impact through training, dialogue, and research that supports Africa’s energy transition.
