Prof. Ignacio Pérez Arriaga to take over as Interim Director of the African School of Regulation as of 1 January 2025
After its meeting on 4 December 2024, the Managing Board of the African School of Regulation (ASR) decided that Dr Frederick Nyang would cease as Director of the ASR on 31 December 2024. At the same time, the Board invited Prof. Ignacio Pérez Arriaga to take over as Interim Director of the ASR as of 1 January 2025. Prof. Pérez Arriaga already served as Interim Director of the ASR from September 2022 to March 2024. “The Board is very grateful to Prof. Pérez Arriaga for his availability to lead once again the ASR, as Interim Director, while we select a new Director”, said Alberto Pototschnig, Deputy Director of the Florence School of Regulation and Chairman of the Managing Board of the ASR.
